Timmy, Hadryan and I made a trip to Keningau today to fetch Novena home. Not a very long journey but it's the hilly or rather mountainous slops that are really discouraging.

We had our breakfast in Papar and continued the journey at about 11.30 am.
Hadryan took the opportunity to take over the wheel from me from Papar roundabout to Ulu Kimanis. This is what I call illegal driver! No license! But the person who should be booked is the father! Hahaha...

After reaching Keningau town proceeded to KFC to buy a bucket of KFC chicken for Yeyek's birthday. Belated birthday lahhh.
Mother-in-law took the opportunity to asked me to repair her broken washing basin tap. Small problem lah but a big one for those that knows not!
Headed back at about 4.30 pm and reached home at about 7 pm.

Farwell MRSM

Stepping out

Hadryan checking out for the last time at MRSM after completing his SPM yesterday (25th December 2008) after 5 years. Finally secondary school is over for him and now a new dimension is awaiting for him as he takes the next steps to university life.

When I went to fetch him, it made me recall my time when I left my boarding school after 5 years at Sultan Badlishah School, Kulim Kedah. There's always that sad feeling of leaving after spending 5 years of your life in a boarding school, not to mention the friends that we might not meet again. Some might want to go as quick as possible to the next dimension in life but I believe that one day when one sits back and ponder the past, recalling the wonderful journey that one went through, nothing is more wonderful then school life and all the friends one once had.

There are times when I wish I can turn back the clock and go through the wonderful life in school and to meet all my friends again with whom I've now lost contact.Ooh...dear me! Why am I suddenly being nostalgic about school life? I must have missed it terribly. Well, can't blame myself as it is facts of life. Those years my sisters used to say how much they missed school life while they were working and I used to brushed them off. Now I realized that I was wrong.

School life is the most wonderful chapter in ones life.
To all my children, one day you will experience what your dad had written here and I tell you all now that you will have the same feeling what I am feeling right now. And you will share them with my grandchildren, your children!

Timothy Back Home

Timmy is back home today for his semester holiday. Made us (dad & mum) waited after there was a delay in his flight which was supposed to land at 10 pm 21 December 2008. I could hear the mum snoring on the sofa while waiting for the hour to come by. By 11.30 pm we decided to proceed to the kedai mamak for a teh-tarik as the eyelids was fast dropping. Maybe a teh-tarik and a roti canai will hold on the eyelids from dropping. Well it did work but by then it was raining heavily.
Timmy finally landed at about 1 am with his big luggage of clothing. Hem mm.... unwashed clothing I mean...and of course the Sarawak kuih lapis.

Terrence's Trip To Jakarta

Terrence just came back from his 6 days 5 nights holiday trip to Jakarta, Indonesia today. Bought for his daddy a beautiful black jacket and some goodies for his mum and siblings.

He called home a few times while he was in Jakarta but none went through or we had a missed call.

He had a fantastic holiday especially with his "million" rupiah in his pocket or rather in his sling bag.
